UK Orders will be processed and delivered within 7-10 working days using our partner couriers. For made to measure and oil finished items, please allow us 2 additional days to ensure your boards are looking great.

We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards and payments will be taken by our online payment partner, Stripe.

If you wish to amend your order, please contact sales@oakboards.co.uk . We will confirm the status of the order and where it’s possible to amend any items. Any additional charges applicable for order amendments must be paid in full before we’ll process the items.

Please note, changes to orders may affect our processing times.

Unfortunately we do not offer a collection service, but we deliver via courier to Mainland UK, Northern Ireland and most non-mainland UK destinations. Simply select your area when placing an order to see the delivery options available to you.

We deliver to Mainland UK, Northern Ireland and selected British Isles. Please check out your delivery options by selecting the correct area when placing an order.

We currently do NOT delivery outside the UK.

We offer FREE standard courier delivery to all Mainland UK. Most other UK locations are also free of charge and can be confirmed at the time of placing the order.

If you wish to place a bulk order or have specific delivery requirements, please contact us at sales@oakboards.co.uk for a delivery quotation before placing your order.

Under normal circumstances your order should arrive within 7-10 working days for standard items. For made to measure and oil finished items, please allow us 2 additional days to ensure your boards are looking great. You will be advised of any delay or if the item is not available.

For deliveries outside Mainland UK, including Northern Island, please allow up to 2 further working days for your delivery to arrive.

During peak sale periods and bank holidays delivery times may be affected and but we’ll do our best to keep you will be informed.

How will my order be packaged?

Your oak and accessories will be securely wrapped for delivery. To prevent damage or wrapping of your oak, it’s important to ensure the timbers are not left outside or stored incorrectly after delivery.

If you are not installing your boards immediately, please ensure your oak is stored correctly away from moisture and heat. Never leave boards stood upright, leaning against a wall or unsupported across the length, as this may cause bowing and warping.

Please inspect the order on delivery and in the unlikely event that a parcel arrives damaged, record this with the courier and take photos of any damaged packaging. All damage or defects must be reported within 5 working days of receipt to sales@oakboards.co.uk .

All UK deliveries are made via our selected couriers. To get your order to you as quickly as possible, we may send items separately and these may occasionally be delivered by different couriers.

Our couriers may deliver Monday-Sunday, between 7am and 9pm. During busy periods, deliveries may occur outside of these hours. We may use a Signed For delivery service, so please ensure you have someone available to receive your goods.

We reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods for any orders, including larger items.

Most of our courier provide delivery tracking however we cannot be held responsible for this service. If you require delivery with full tracking and signature, please get in contact with us before placing your order.

We’re sorry to hear this.

In the event that items arrive damaged, faulty or are incorrect/missing, you must contact us within 5 working days of receipt by email at: sales@oakboards.co.uk .

As long as you return items within 10 working days of receipt, you’ll have the option to receive either a replacement or a full refund back to your original payment method. We will reimburse the cost of standard return postage up to the value of the original order postage. Please contact us first as we may be able to arrange for the return more efficiently.

Please retain proof of shipment until we have confirmed receipt of your returned goods.

If you are not satisfied with your items you received, we ask that you contact us within 5 working days of receipt by email to: sales@oakboards.co.uk . All items should be returned within 10 working days of receipt in a resaleable condition.

Returned goods should be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging, where possible. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of damage or missing parts from your refund if the goods are returned in an unsatisfactory condition.

You are responsible for the costs to return your items however please contact us first as we may be able to arrange for the return more efficiently.

Please retain proof of shipment until we have confirmed receipt of your returned goods.

EXCLUSION FOR RETURNS

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for products that have been damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or exposure to excessive heat. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Misuse: Using the product for purposes other than its intended use, including improper installation, maintenance, handling or storage.
  • Heat damage: Exposure to high temperatures that may cause warping, discoloration, or other forms of damage to the product.
  • Poor Installation: Any damage resulting from improper installation, including but not limited to incorrect fitting, inadequate preparation, or failure to follow recommended installation procedures, will not be covered under our return policy.

Made to order and trimmed to size items may be returned if they are found to be faulty.

Following receipt of your returned items, we will contact you and process your refund within 14 working days.

All our oak boards are made to order. You may cancel your order at any time so long as the item(s) have not been processed. Cancellations must be made in writing to sales@oakboards.co.uk . We will confirm the status of the order and where it’s possible to cancel the order, you will be refunded in full.

We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with us and have a complaint. Please contact us at sales@oakboards.co.uk explaining your concerns and any helpful information such as your order number.

We will endeavour to respond to all complaints within 2 working days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your complaint or issue, you may have the option to refer the matter to an Ombudsman. The Ombudsman is an independent service that can assist in resolving disputes fairly and impartially.
